A fabulous Ribera del Duero. Intense cherry red, with bright fruit and hints of spice, tobacco and toffee. Grippy tannins, but smooth and velvety on the palate. Outstanding value from the region.

This wine is made by Christian Veyry who was trained by Olivier Berrouet who was responsible for Petrus and Dominus for many years. Has the flavour and silkiness of fine Pomerol, with hints of game, graphite, a touch of cedar and lovely pure fruit.

From 111 year old vines under the care of Bertrand Bourdil (ex Mouton Rothschild, Opus One), this is a superb Malbec. A beautiful expansive nose of red and blackberries and chocolate. Warm, generous and full-bodied with hints of cedar wood and tobacco. Absolutely delicious.
